When I was brought on board for this ad, the goal was to create an original tune that felt super relaxed, playful, and laid-back. The music needed to support the message that you don’t have to worry when you’ve got the right tool for the job.
It might sound simple, but it’s not easy to come up with a universal, catchy tune for a dishwashing product. So I focused on the end result instead—that moment when everything’s clean and there’s nothing left to do. Total zen. I pictured that feeling when you’re so relaxed you just hum along to anything.
To avoid clichés and keep the rhythm of the animation feeling natural, I built the track almost entirely from vocal layers, with a bit of acoustic guitar mainly used for percussion. It turned out great: a light, happy tune that carried the message of the campaign.
The track was a success and became part of Fairy’s international rollout.

This is the track from the project, “As Long as I Have You”. I think it really captures that feeling of being done with work and simply enjoying the moment. Playful, laid-back, and easy to hum along with, just perfect for the ad.
