Behind the sound is sometimes me, sometimes LeShaman, and often both of us together. He’s not on every project, but we work a lot side by side. I focus mainly on sound design and audio post, while he’s a very inspired composer. I act as executive on the projects we do together, and we bounce ideas until they meet in the middle.
Behind the Sound
From recording sessions to late-night tests, this is how we work as a team. We’ve documented moments that show the way we approach projects and how ideas take shape. It’s not unusual for us to go out and record raw sounds for later use or to test custom-made instruments from whatever’s lying around, like keys, rulers, coins or empty jars.
