Ce ti-e si cu dragostea

Performed by Ștefania Udrea, this one feels like a spell in the form of a love song. It’s not about heartbreak, it’s about wanting them to feel what you did. The Romanian chant and haunting ney bring in that raw folklore vibe. The beat hits like anger turned rhythm. Twisted, emotional, and deeply human.

The story

This was an independent project, but one I really liked. Ștefania is an amazing and passionate ney flute player, and she wanted to make a song about the idea of lost love. I called Robert Toma to help with the lyrics, and he nailed it—he made it feel like a spell disguised as a love song. We also brought in Adina Bold for those haunting backing vocals, which gave it even more depth.

It was definitely a challenge mixing a ney flute with loud synths, but that made it more interesting. The result felt unique. We knew it wasn’t made for radio, and we didn’t care. It was a passion project. We put our emotions into it and had fun making it.

The video followed that same mood. Ștefania took the message and pushed it further, turning the poor guy into a werewolf. Be careful when you break a Romanian girl’s heart—she might just turn you into a beast.

Performed by What’s UP, this one’s about the kind of heartbreak that sticks around. It’s not just missing someone, it’s losing the part of you that only made sense with them. It mixes old-school Romanian longing with modern self-awareness. A toast to forgetting, but the more you try, the more you remember.
