“Good taste and common sense” was a bold manifesto campaign for Fashion Days, and a fun project where I handled music research and composed the final soundtrack.

The process

Music was key to the spot's emotional impact. The main theme was an urban interpolation inspired by the feeling of classic tracks like “Come in 007” and Charles Bradley's “The World (Is Going Up in Flames).”

It was a successful project all around, picking up multiple Effies Awards and getting a lot of positive feedback online, which is always the best result.

The soundtrack

Here's the music soundtrack that's the central piece of this campaign. It’s got that James Bond-inspired feel with an urban twist, driving the "Good taste and common sense" message across cinema, digital, radio, and TV.

Next Project

Following the success of the first manifesto, Fashion Days continued the story with this new campaign, shifting the message from "common sense" to "responsibility." They liked the original soundtrack so much they chose to feature it again—the best kind of compliment.
