Decade celebration

For this fun ad, I used a well-known song written by Marius Moga called “La Mulți Ani!” (which translates to “Happy Birthday!”) and adapted it especially for the project. I re-recorded all the vocals with new lyrics about Zuzu, reworked parts of the arrangement to include rock and marching band elements (as seen in the video), and added vocal layers to create the party vibe.

A few sound design touches and some spicy transitions helped everything snap into place. The song is already very familiar to Romanian audiences, so the adaptation made it even more fun and meaningful in the context of the ad.

The only real challenge was the tight deadline. Everything else was just fun and creatively rewarding. The campaign got a huge push across TV, radio, and social media and was a huge success. The slogan was heard for a whole year in gas stations, supermarkets, and malls all across the country.
