The story
We made this song just because we love working together. No pressure, no deadlines—just passion and joy. It’s a traditional Moldavian Christmas song adapted by Cristian Condrea and Stela. We weren’t even in the same country when we did it. She recorded the vocals and sent them over, and I did the orchestration here in Bucharest.
Ever since we worked on Cerul e limita (“Sky is the limit”), we stayed connected as both friends and musicians. We kept trying ideas together, and this one came together in less than two days. We barely even talked—she did her part, I did mine. We just understood each other through the music. It still fascinates me how that works.
